@Ray_Of_Sunlight@404mediaco it’s essentially a less featured clone of Discord. It offers group text and voice chat. But does not have screen sharing or streaming capabilities. It’s an essentially a hobby project for a small few. It’s open source , plans to go encrypted (at some point maybe) and from I understand don’t track everything you do on your pc. @candide I don’t have any experience with element. From what I gathered element is more like slack / skype. You can have calls but only with invite vs an open channel. But the idea it’s all encrypted has kept it in the back of my mind.
