Been looking at the comments around Delta only being available in the EU through AltStore, and how there’s a €1.50 annual fee while it’s free everywhere else.
I’m really, really struggling to understand why people are up in arms about having to spend €1.50 a year.
Even at my most hard up, I wouldn’t have baulked at that cost. Not least because it’s not necessarily Riley that’s charging it, it’s to cover the bullshit CTF costs that Apple has levied.
Asked about this on Lemmy, and the responses seem to be almost deranged in how angry they are about being forced to pay a “tax” to run Delta on an iPhone.
It’s €1.50 A YEAR. Not a week, or month. That’s what, half a coffee?
Eh, whatever. The one (1) benefit to Brexit so far is that we’re not in the EU anymore, so I get to install it for free.
