I am now going to attempt to watch When Harry Met Sally. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this before, and I don’t think I liked it. I’m expecting it to be excessively quippy and hetero.
I was dreading it - figured it would be improbable and awkward - but the dialogue and characterization actually led up to it, and Meg Ryan makes some convincing noises.
@Cassandra You don't get a lot straighter than WHMS! I can basically recite it, and there are a few great lines/exchanges, but also I haven't chosen to rewatch it in an extremely long time.
@eliotedits You know, I’m actually enjoying it more than I expected, even though it is basically a play. Some of the dialogue is quite fun, and the characters are quite strong.
