@Viss I have seen a bunch of tools with those attack maps and I really don't understand the practical purpose. Is it just to make the security analyst feel cool before he goes and looks at grid views of log data all day?
@ocdtrekkie there are lots of people in security who dont know anything about computers whatsoever, so when they see stuff that looks cool, they make the assumption that because it looks cool it actually functions and/or does stuff. norse was basically sold to investors as some sort of magcal solution that was next-leve when it turns out the entire thing was a complete con job
