Is fanless essential @thestrangelet?

The notebooks from @frameworkcomputer https://frame.work/ work well, I have several and am happy with them.

@bignose @frameworkcomputer Yes it is. I have a powerful Slimbook, but the fan spinning up always annoys me. FWP, I know.

if you're running a modern distro and what you're doing spools up the fans maybe fanless won't work anyway?
