@merecivilian I'm right there with ya. I currently use a kindle paperwhite with KoReader installed instead. I know I don't need the Libra Color but boy howdy do I really want one!

@leaf exactly.. I definitely do not need one and my credit card statement also is suggesting that I do not buy it… but I really want one..

But i am an adult… so will stay firm and loyal to the Boox Palma

@maique @merecivilian I actually got burned awhile ago with a colour e-reader. A company had a kickstarter going. I saw they had done one successful kickstart before, albeit nearly a year delayed. So I went in with the expectation to get it late.

Over half the backers (including yours truly) never got our device and the ones that did complained about subpar quality. The company has now gone radio silent and we're left in the lurch. It's nice to see it being done by a proper company this time!

@leaf @merecivilian That is an awful story, and hope you guys find a way to somehow get your money back.

The fact that this is a somewhat affordable device, made by a well known company, is what’s tempting me.

@maique @merecivilian Meh, I've come to peace with it. It is part of the risk with doing kickstarters.

I agree with your about the price and company. This is definitely on my wish list! ^__^
