About to head out to San Francisco so I can attend Google I/O in person next week! Looking forward to meeting some of y'all there!

There was a time when I used to be so excited for an #apple #ipad event..Today, from an hardware perspective, my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 is more than sufficient and I am feeling indifferent to the upcoming OLED iPads. What is the point of having a desktop class computing chip (m3) on an iPad when the iPadOS basically treats it like an #iphone

Strangely, I am looking forward to the #microsoft surface announcement.

My content starts on my blog

I’ve written about this before but my blog is my default. What I mean by this is that when I have a thought I want to get out, the blog is the place it goes. As social media took off people would often start with their feed, not their own site. For me, aside from a few years gap of not posting much about 10 years ago I’ve always defaulted to my own site.

@ljpuk This is a fantastic mindset and lately, i have been thinking about this as well. Most of the stuff I post, I start with my blog as well. Strangely, I have ended up with two blogs now lol

Having said that, I do not recall ever writing this much, which feels great.

Most importantly, its on my blog for my future me to re-discover my thinking etc. Also great for others to take a peak into whats going on in MereCivilian land

I’ve been paying for Proton Unlimited for a few months now and it’s been really good. Mail, Proton Pass, the VPN and unlimited email aliases with SimpleLogin on my custom domain have all been top notch. Highly recommended.

In all seriousness, on multiple occasions I have attempted to learn how to code but each time I find that I like the idea of building stuff (apps etc) but not the process of building it.

@cliophate you are 100% correct. Indie apps makes Apple platform so sticky

The apps aren’t as polished as iOS but Android has its unique advantages and in due course (with time), that lack of polish fades away.

That is the case for me who is lives in both ecosystems.

Given the opportunity, android is a lot of fun. We tend to get stuck in our ways and find discomfort if we have to do things differently. Never did I think I would use an android eink and now I cant let go of Palma

Its been over 3 months since I got the Boox Palma. I thought its a good time to look at its DNS queries because I am aware its made by a company registered in China.
