@johncarlosbaez Maybe that archive link doesn't go to a specific snapshot but something like the newest one? Because the headline I found on the other end was better: “California has so much solar power it’s throwing it away”.

It's possible they're still running the stupid one as well and after A/B testing will go with whichever is better clickbait :(

@nex - I originally read the article on the Washington Post, and looking now it still has that same dumb headline.
