The way it is operating in relation to Gaza is probably what the Western powers want, i.e. absolve Israel. So they may not want the demise, but for it to continue the way it's operating right now.
Who are the judges at the various sections of the ICC? Who appoints them? What's the funding structure like? It's not the demise but the restructuring we need. Is there an adequate representation of the Global South in this supranational entity? Many more questions...but we do need an ICC
