@vinesnfluff Honestly, probably some sort of hiccup between the instances. I see about 19 magazines on pawb.social from kbin.social, and that seems like maybe half of them when I actually go over there. Doesn't include the mlp one, either.
They are theoretically compatible, but early days on both, and all the instances have far more people then they were ready for. I wouldn't be totally surprised if they were both just backed up...

Have you tried using the mag link to search it?
Kbin federation can be kinda tricky, I have some problems subscribing to some magazines too @SweetAIBelle

Oh, well I've seen that sometimes waiting a little even after you've made the search can help, there seems to be a little delay between the search ending and the thing being properly federated, so if you leave the search page the moment the loading finishes and it doesn't show up you can end up missing it, but i don't think it happens much, it's probably some federation problem... Maybe try to search a link from a post on the mag? @SweetAIBelle
