@madargon do you memorize ipv6 addresses? internal dns servers are based in my opinion but yeah fuck using the big ones like 1.1.1.1 8.8.8.8 out of principle because they're centralized dns. i mean dnssec but still, the registrars and so forth it gets really political. i just use 1.1.1.1 with 8.8.8.8 as fallback because it just works ™️ though i respect efforts such as https://wiki.opennic.org/start

I had times I remembered my "main" IPv6 address - DigitalOcean gives 16 of them, my nginx uses first from that list.
In work I mostly ping servers or log via ssh using IP addresses. I feel it is kind of... more reliable?
