@Tusky Haven't used #Tusky for ages, because it doesn't have Talkback actions for blind Android users.However, #Pachli does, and is an all round better app if you are blind.
@nick@Tusky I spoke too soon. Actions oddly only work in the home tab. They don’t work on the other tabs such as notifications. I couldn’t easily reply to this from notifications. So neither are perfect yet.
@TalkingDroid@nick I'd like to fix this, but it's not a feature I use. Can you describe what you're doing, and what you think should happen so I can reproduce the problem?
@nikclayton@nick So on the main timeline tab, I can read messages with Talkback and, if I want to reply, I can flick down with one finger to the Reply action. This exists as a Talkbacj action. Other actions include Boost, Favourite, etc.
If I tap the Notifications or any other tab and find the same message, then flick down, Talkback will say no actions available.
I checked, and with Talkback enabled I can see those actions on normal post timelines (Home, Local, Federated, Trending Posts, etc), but not on Notifications or Conversations.
I've fixed that, and the fix will be in #Pachli 2.5.0.
