@Adam_Cadmon1 I run into this as a dog pro unfortunately often. Just the other day when someone found out I was a trainer they said “oh do you know so-and-so?” I didn’t, which is unusual cos I know most local dog pros. They said “she trains K9s for the PD” and I exaggeratedly replied THAT EXPLAINS WHY I DON’T KNOW THEM.
@Adam_Cadmon1 I got a settlement from local cops in mid 90s because one of them lost control of their dog on busy, packed causeway & dog attacked me. I was lucky that my bulky jacket was what it bite & tore & not any of my flesh. I was trying to leave causeway & go to my car to drive home because fights broke out & cops lost control on several fronts. It took 2.5 yrs to get settlement. I only agreed to settlement because I was too stressed out by that point that I didn't pursue court case.
