I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Ben Collins co-bought the Onion.

  • and he did it because he was concerned that some wealthy prick (like Elon) would buy it just to kill it.

Side-note: I quit following him because he's so attached to Twitter. But, I'm still glad he made this move with the Onion.

My main fear is The Onion will turn into a chop suey sandwich porn mag with him in charge.

@GreenFire @VirginiaMurr Yeah I had almost said “hey he’s on mastodon too!” before realizing that was his threads.net account. 🤦🏻‍♀️
(I always check to see if if someone’s on Mastodon before pointing at another site, even if they’re not active on Mastodon but now I have to watch out for the threads.net accounts lol)
