Disaster preparation task for the day (not yet complete): Took the new weed whacker to the (unwanted) weeds in the yard, to reduce work before the June 1st Brush Clearance deadline in our county, as well as to keep the seed heads from reaching maturity (talk to YOU, Artichoke Thistle aka Cynara cardunculus -- edible, but very invasive!). #disasterprep#wildfires
