@Haste police won't enter an active shooter situation, they might get their lovely fascist costume all dirty or worse get shot by one of their own far right head banging incel gun nuts, that just won't do, they just wait outside until they either run out of bullets or children to murder, then they can go in, pat them on the back & then gently arrest them. But protesters aren't generally armed or violent, plus their bosses don't like freedom of speech or assembly so they have to stamp it out...
