The shutdown of 14 #mediumwave transmitters on 9 frequencies has made all but 3 freqs completely silent in the UK: 756 still has a 1kW BBC R.Cumbria relay, 1449 is BBC Asian Network @ 150 watts, and 1458 is a 125kW Lyca Radio for most of us except in Birmingham where there's another BBC Asian tx @ 5kW.
Yes, even our European "graveyard" frequency of 1485 kHz no longer has anything from the UK!
Additionally, 1242 became one more freq w/ NO STATIONS AT ALL anywhere in EUROPE!
