OK, I get it, everyone, especially on Mastodon, screams "smart TVs are bad".
What solution would you recommend that

1. works withtout the native TV apps
2. is not a privacy nightmare
3. is not Kodi
4. parents can use to access Netflix, Max, Prime, Disney+, Showtime, Plex, YouTube, all in 4k, and the occasional streaming from their phone
5. can be used with a remote?

I'm looking for a fire & forget solution that requires minimal to no supervision.
