@emsquared I still think the DAW companies should work on their own custom OS's. Then maybe things would be more stable, more audio interfaces would work properly for less CPU....
@tiredhorizon@emsquared Ableton have as good as done it with the Push 3, but being able to do it on hardware under your control is different to creating a distribution for general PC's.
@tiredhorizon@emsquared I can't see them opening it up to VSTs but that's part of the difficulty - there'd be the expectation that anything would run on it, which isn't a given on Linux-based OSes.
