17yo kitty Ginny isn't doing great, with thyroid overactivity and kidneys not working great. Not doing awful either, and you wouldn't know it just by looking.
Some thyroid meds have helped. Some additional kidney meds coming.
This would be a lot easier if we weren't dealing with a vet that has tried to upsell us on every questionable supplement and procedure over the years, for all of our pets.
Now we can't tell what's a BS business tactic, and what's medically necessary.
@QueerInTheCountry I hate it when the dog tries upselling me stuff. No, I don't want a double backflip for the price of 2 treats, you'll just end up at the vet again with the cat.
