@foone once I met this person in an irc channel that worked at a company managing client servers in data centers. They lost the location of not one, but several physical rack servers and had no idea if they were still running, functioning or anything else. They found out after a customer complained about ssh not working… and they tried to find the physical server… it can happen. It shouldn’t it really shouldn’t but if you end up with the right circumstances yeah I’d believe it
