@heiglandreas I feel your pain, currently using a vpn that blocks some of the connections. Although it should only be used for certain ip ranges. Which aren't visible in my routing table.

It just works for everyone...

@heiglandreas Not saying that it took 2 hours each for 3 guys with a CS background to find out that the router of a person, not to be named in this toot, had some odd priority to the ISP dns even though primary and secondary dns were assigned when connected to the vpn...

So yeah pretty easy stuff and it just works. Cries in wasted lifetime

@heiglandreas My favorite part of VPN is that there are standards for retrieving certificates, connecting, and authorizing, and yet Cisco continues its AnyConnect nonsense that always utterly fails to work with any standard VPN client.

@heiglandreas If you haven’t tried Tailscale, it’s probably worth a look. By far the best VPN experience I’ve ever had.

If you have tried Tailscale: yeah, indirection is hard. (-;
