The biggest insult and compliment I keep getting are people DM'ing me on Insta telling me my photos are only good cause I have Hot Toys figures! Well I don't actually own any Hot Toys figures at all cause they're way out of my budget so it means I'm doing a great job of making cheaper figures look more expensive! 😂 you can't win on social media. People telling you what it is you own and what you are doing, and I'm the one that's buying the things and actually doing the work yet I'm wrong.
@danbeeston If I were making the models I wouldn't be doing the photography work that in itself would be a full time job and skill. I just think some folks love to devalue anything or anyone creative. "It must be the camera you use" "It must be the lens" etc etc, never the person actually doing the hard work with the tools.
@robotwig I've never heard of people trying to shame a photographer for taking a picture of something nice. That's like the stupidest flex I've ever heard of. Your work is amazing either way and I hope you feel deservedly proud of it.
