@DXMacGuffin @kohelet there is a difference in the usage of punctuation depending on the generation: older (i.e. boomers & X) generations tend to use it as a phonetic tool (close to grammar in many cases) while younger generations (Y & Z) as an interactional one, to convey emotions. So a dot in the end of a sentence can be perceived as an abrupt end and therefore aggressive. A bit like the difference between "so much fun!" and "so much fun."
