The central area is mostly BLUE STATE, so there's not that many obnoxiously huge trucks with offensive flags. There's lots of interesting things to see such as Chaco Canyon or El Malpais (https://www.nps.gov/elma/index.htm). Hatch green chili. Cons: NW and SE corners of the state are RED STATE, so yeah. IMO, it's kind of boring. 1/2
