Never thought of you a Sword Guy which is weird because I always think of you as a kind of steampunk Pirate - My mental image of you has you wearing dual cutlass' which is kinda a pair of swords I guess (as opposed to being classified as a LARGE knife) ?
@Faintdreams I have a collection of rapiers, sabres, cutlasses and broadswords from my HEMA days and I now teach a class in Iaido which is traditional Japanese sword forms.
@Faintdreams Most of our furniture, cutlery and kitchenware probably will. (Some of it is 120 years old already, it can go another lap.) And art, though I don't know if "functional" is a good term for that.
@irina I know what you mean 'functional' is a term for art that feels ..not correct ? But for aesthetic things like art I think just existing as a recognisable art thing counts as being functional :)
