My husband and I had a native garden designer come out over the winter to create a plan for us and it’s time to get started. Our home’s previous two owners were shortish term and they did zero maintenance of any kind to the gardens of the long-term owners before them, meaning it is time for: The Great De-Minting of 2024
(all of this green you see is a single monstrous Apple Mint plant. believe it or not, there are Ground Violets hanging on underneath.)
there are a minimum of two (2) Toads in here and they seem to be torn between irritation at my removal of the Apple Mint and delight at the plethora of uncovered grubs
