@TodePond i would argue that mrbeast isn't the best example for clickbait. Yes he thinks that thumbnails are the most important part of the video and he wants and needs views.
The things on his thumbnails almost never happen exactly like that, but they happen in spirit. I never really felt click-baited after clicking on a mrbeast thumbnail
@joshix right that's a good point and i think i agree, though i often see them named as "clickbait" and i guess that's an interesting point on how the shared understanding of "clickbait" can be so loose and unclear
