KKK demonstrations are protected by the police. Yet, police are called if students and Jewish groups speak out about genocide in Palestine and they are proclaimed antisemites. AT WHAT POINT does all this fuckery BIND US ALL TOGETHER IN THE FIGHT?
What this is further clarifying is that the police TRULY do NOT exist to serve the public. They exist to serve power. To protect power from being made to feel mildly uncomfortable or inconvenienced. And this nonsense is one of the few things that has actually trickled down. How many "liberals" have you heard say that protesting is OK, but if it slows down traffic (this seems to be the harbinger of unacceptable protest) it has somehow crossed a line? It's ridiculous.
@CindyS You’re absolutely right. The concept that demonstrating isn’t supposed to be disruptive represents buying your oppressors bullshit hook, line and sinker. Black people have always known this. I hope white people can now understand this too. No one is safe.

@loathsomecowboy@StillIRise1963 when the KKK and white supremacist groups decided to go “underground” and mainstream and called it something like “the khakis initiative” or something like that they purposely infiltrated police departments. There was an FBI report about it—I believe in 1996 I can check date but they were purposely put into local police departments.

It’s bone chilling and the people who helped along the way saved us
