It seems completely reasonable that everyone who votes for Trump or any member of the MAGA Party should be exiled to FL and TX, after we provide financial aid to relocate those who wish to get out. Let them live in the hellscape they want. Lock down the borders between the US their hell hole, remove all federal installments, no financial or humanitarian aid, no trade agreements, no access to US infrastructure., no migration.

What this is further clarifying is that the police TRULY do NOT exist to serve the public. They exist to serve power. To protect power from being made to feel mildly uncomfortable or inconvenienced. And this nonsense is one of the few things that has actually trickled down. How many "liberals" have you heard say that protesting is OK, but if it slows down traffic (this seems to be the harbinger of unacceptable protest) it has somehow crossed a line? It's ridiculous.

The US attracts assholes like Musk and Murdock. 40 years of unregulated capitalism has turned America into a cesspool of toxic greed. It has infected the every level of our nation (e.g. SCOTUS, politicians, the press, most all CEO's and executives). In large part, American's worship money and they worship the people who have amassed money. Greed is the only thing that's "trickled down" since Ray-guns sold a 100 year old debunked economic theory to his disciples.

I wouldn't, by any measure, agree that we're spending an "insane amount" on K-12... are you in the US?
Insuring the failure of the public education system is a desired outcome for the right-wing. Firstly, if you make something crappy enough, it will open the door for "alternatives": like using tax money to fund for-profit and religiously based educational options via "vouchers". Secondly, the less educated voters are, the easier they are to manipulate.

He is not intelligent. He is emotionally and intellectually below average.
He lies because it riles up his base and whips them into more rabid worship. It's a learned behavior, like Pavlov's dog. An animal learns what it needs to do to get approval from it's target audience. It's not due to mental acuity. It's a biological imperative for all animals to seek acceptance from those that exist within their sphere of influence.
Nothing will EVER convince me he's intelligent.

I'm not convinced there are legitimate "conservative positions" anymore. Seems to me that all it's become is just doing the exact opposite of what the libs/dems/wokes are doing. It doesn't even matter what it is. I've often wondered if we couldn't just promote the worst most restrictive policies we can think of because I'd bet money they'd demand that we do the opposite. "Conservatives" have devolved into the the emotional equivalent of a 4 year old.

The administrators at Duke are either 1) cowards or 2) racists. If a university doesn't have the balls to make the moral decision, I would suggest that they are unworthy to provide education. I would never attend, nor send my children to an institution of higher learning that is so clearly bereft of ethics. The fact that they advertise themselves as a "Christian" institution is laughable, but 100% on message for today's evangelical fascists.
