We all love Mother’s Day. I think about my mother and miss her, but in that respect every day is Mother’s Day. The same for my dear mother-in-law, who passed away on Labour Day last year; today is our first Mother’s Day without her. Jamaicans try not to miss anyone out, and recognise sisters, and aunties, and grandmothers, with or without children.
