RDP Tuesday: Armchair | Chronicles of an Anglo Swiss

The same for my dear mother-in-law, who passed away on Labour Day last year; today is our first Mother’s Day without her. (Mother’s Day Special) Today is Mother’s Day that evokes some cherished memories of my mom. Whenever my siblings or I succeeded in exams, she would prepare halwa, a delightful Indian pudding crafted from semolina, ghee, sugar, cashews, and raisins. Recalling her culinary prowess, I reminisce about how she would often cook extra for lunch, ensuring leftovers were either enjoyed by us or fed to the cow in the evening.
