Ever feel like exams actually are barriers for slow and deep learning, like it disincentivizes you to study a subject at a pace where you can dive deep into a subject

A pedagogy of tests & exams has no option for folks who are interested intrinsically in a subject rather than the test-taking part

The system does not allow a person to build their competence iteratively and gradually at a slow pace, every stage of evaluation via the tests and exams is not additive but rather punitive.

Conveyer belt of tests and grades simply doesn't allow the person to cultivate their interests by deeply exploring a subject which is needed to be able to discover and invent something new.

Inventions happen via having a dialogue with a variety of knowledge by experimenting and challenging concepts from multiple perspectives and lenses

Not by "cracking exams"
