I've once described a shadow dance with the right partner as "like sex on the dance floor". And while you don't have to dance it that way, it sure is fun with the right person!
I enjoy dancing a shadow (with enthusiastically consenting partners) at the Emerald City Hoedown every year. To this day I can't help but get a stupid smile on my face when I hear that song.
My niece seemed to take the conversation and the dance lesson video I included in the first post in stride, but she's probably rolling her eyes about old people behind my back. And that's OK -- we old people were once her age 😁
