@kaia If you just factor in inflation of the money supply, the McChicken should cost $1.74, but it actually costs $4.00. This is because there are other factors responsible for price increases besides inflation, such as tariffs, cost of logistics, and supply / demand.

cant really tell but i tbh wouldnt expect the ingredients to have gone up in quality, the servings afaik have def gone down
@catty@kaia I do remember having maccies as a kid and it being like slop, versus now where its actually decent food that I crave when I see it, which you cant say for alot of fast food so :puniko_shrug:
@kaia@catty In the UK I suspect significantly. Afaik famously their food was like dog food back before I was born, and they were nearly dead in the UK till whoever owns them pushed a bunch of money into revitalizing (and more importantly making the franchises compliant with new EU food regs) the franchises.
