@GossiTheDog as long as it doesn’t have little notes on the ground that say “jump here”, and when I obliged my character came to an early death, I’ll be fine.
I’m about half way though Hellblade 2, it’s my fave game of the year to date.
It’s a very controlled narrative and experience by today’s standards- but what a narrative and experience it is. Everything from audio design to writing to actor performances to encounter design is just spot on IMHO. The climb through the caves in the darkness is a great example of everything working together well.
