Day 2 of "no spend July" to save money and already I'm presented with a problem.
I don't own any shoe polish but I need to clean up and protect my boots for the coming rain this week.
Anyone know of any household stuff that might do the trick?

@KiwiEV I'm not saying this will work, but do you have a lot of ear wax?

Otherwise, do you have sheep nearby - rub the boots all over the sheep to get the stuff out of their wool, and possibly also chased by the farmer.
