Okay, I need to make sure of something. A friend of mine is in need of a new tv, and we're looking at a Fire TV for her, one of the insignia ones. However, she does not have Internet access yet. Is it still doable with voice view, and accessing Over the Air channels, since she does have an antenna. I just need to make sure of this before tomorrow.
Although you can access Voiceview without an internet connection easy enough on the TV, it does require an account for you to sign in/sign up for it to be usable.
@joyctilton I have no idea if initial setup can be completed without Internet access. IIRC it wants you to be connected to Ethernet or set up Wifi, and sign into your Amazon account. I just don't remember if there's an option to set that up later.
