@tehstu@ifixcoinops I really like the Kobo Auras for this (I even did a whole article where I compared several), but the Kobos have full blown waterproofing and a super sharp screen.
Alternatively, the low-end android tablets (like the lenovo m5/m7) can be had for around $50 on sale and work quite well if you really like having color for things like comics or technical manuals.
