This reflects one aspect of a silent shift to #fascism which seemingly all western bourgeois societies are subjected to. Remarkably, this shift is silently proceeding on the organizational ground of a formally liberal democracy. It also reveals the classist nature of the bourgeois state, easily dismissing its liberalist ideological framing when, in times of multiple crises, these are no longer suitable to policies safeguarding the interests of the ruling #capitalist class.
