@jace Most people I know are either a) not on social media or 2) on social media but stopped posting on it. They are all sane as far as I know, allegedly.

@jace I know a lot of gay men without a social footprint OR if they have one it's super tiny. One of my good friends has an Instagram with a ghost picture just to check things out. But doesn't post a damn thing.

@jace been on dates with girls who had social media and those without. Not sure why it's considered a red flag if they don't use social media. Thinking that it's a requirement is probably a commentary of our modern society in that there's the expectation to advertise ourselves online constantly...

@deltatux @jace Not a red flag, but I appreciate what people post to Social Media because it helps give us a sense of what they're like. Just makes me feel like I know less going in.

Stuff they post to Social Media can be red flag, though.

@jace I voted Red Flag, because I was thinking this was a stranger, but if this was someone I knew or a friend of a friend then it wouldn't bother me. The nicest guy I know has no social presence because he's fully involved offline.

@jace My kids are working as an English teacher and MSW. They are not on any social media as posters, but scroll Reddit. Their privacy and safety demand it.
