After seeing some responses to a Wikipedia post, I'm reminded of something which I'll use this account to say, because it should be said loudly and often — hate is disruptive, it has no place in software development, and standing up to it is not "political".
Thankfully, removing it from here is a simple defederation.
We're always able to improve, but our 'code of conduct for Wikimedia technical spaces' (https://w.wiki/_si2) is pretty well enforced.
