I haven't seen a theme yet for @miona's #VGMWednesday, so as I forgot to post something for #BonusBeats last week, I'll do that this week.
But instead, I'll be bonus stage adjacent cause...I'm weird.
When you plug non-Sonic games into Sonic & Knuckles, you'll be able to play a random Bonus Stage from the main game. If you put in Sonic 1, you can do all of them. But first, a "No Way" screen pops up with some fun music. Here's that music and screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zILpjFqlOak
@mdmrn@miona I think I recall reading that Sonic & Knuckles actually had the full games of Sonic 3 and 2 in it and plugging in those cartridges simply acted as a sort of arbitrary verification rather than true requirement.
