It’s Friday, which means it’s Retro Game Of The Week time! This week, who you gonna call… yeah, them, as I delve into Ghostbusters for the Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive!
The tips section for Gynoug on Mega Drive from Mean Machines 6 - March 1991 (UK)
One of my favourite games on the system back in the day.
The art was something else!
This one can actually be bought on all modern systems, same as Gleylancer.
..beat 'em up game for the Sega Genesis, and is considered one of the greatest video games of all time. 🏆
Streets of Rage 2 was coded by the same programming team that did the first title of the series. To make it possible to add more features and additional memory cache, the programmers improved the Mega Drive cartridge specifications. 👨💻

Review for Jewel Master on Mega Drive from Sega Force 2 - February 1992 (UK)
I had so much fun with this one back in the day.
One of those games that I found by looking at all the box art in the local Tandy shop.
Never hear much about this one at all.
UPDATE: Had a third Model 1 #SegaGenesis I got some time back as part of a bundle. Ugly on the inside, broken P1 controller port, BUT with a shell that was still in great shape.
So, I swapped its top panel onto the newer unit, giving me a fantastic-condition back-up to my childhood (now Frankensteined) Genesis. (Just missing the extension port cover.)
And then a third ugly one that’ll be there for parts.
Review for Quackshot on Mega Drive from Sega Force 1 - January 1992 (UK)
One of my early Mega Drive games that I fell in love with.
So much nostalgia for the first 2 years of the system. 🥰
The only thing I'm missing here is some custom artwork for this review as I love how each game gets its own piece in Sega Force and N-Force.
Took a quick picture of the Sega Force magazines that just arrived.
All 19 issues are here and in good shape.
As well as the few CVG issues I was missing from the run that I'm working on. Mainly the Freeplay supplement that was missing in issue 194 as well as issue 154 that I didn't have.
I'll start scanning the first issue of Sega Force later tonight. 😊
