…or maybe it just wasn’t that good? I’m not passing judgement myself and I’ll wait to see it before I give my opinion. But even though the industry is infested with paid reviews, when there’s smoke there’s fire.
If you are asked about bad reviews directly, you can’t exactly ‘no comment’ them. His response is basically ‘it’s not a conventional film’ is a perfectly reasonable one, I think.
