It looks like the #dotCons are going down the partisan path. So DogCoinPusher will do the Fox side and BlueSky will do the CNN side and togather they will continue the old #divideAndRule, bi-partisan model. Toxic. Time to move to federated.

An official app seems pretty untenable to me. Forgejo/Gitea developers are not mobile developers, implementing mobile apps is better left to those who have knowledge in that area. Forgejo/Gitea already provide a great API to make such things easily possible.
@gmate8@Codeberg I just mentioned that Forgejo/Gitea have excellent APIs that can be used by third parties. If the idea of a first party app came to light, they would just use the same APIs. Using something like GitNex is not a workaround, it is how it should be.
@gmate8@Codeberg At this point, you want Codeberg in a web browser, but disguised as an app. UI consistency between desktops and mobile apps is not trivial to achieve.
The current Forgejo/Gitea UI is responsive, but some components have workarounds to make it work and look good on mobile but are not optimal. Mobile design kits like Google's Material Design or Apple's Human Interface Guidelines have far better components that make sense on mobile.
