Popped into Fopp earlier. The price of vinyl is at the taking the Michael level now. Single vinyl albums at £35- £45. CD's at £18. And yet I could buy Miles Davis' Kind of Blue on CD for £5 (I didn't as I have it on Sacd) #vinyl#CostOfLiving
And it's a con. The nonsense that the analogue signal is smoother and richer is just bollocks. You'd have to have superhuman hearing to detect the difference.
@juglugs@emsquared There were good reasons why DJs preferred vinyl in the 90s, but they don't exist any more. There's very little to recommend with physical formats other than nostalgia now.
