@sibylle I use Firefox on highest tracking security plus an adblocker, yes.
For Boredpanda, I disabled the adblocker because they make their money with clickbait.
Probably you got a message for disabling any adblocker? Which is no paywall.

A paywall is if you have to pay a subscription or article with money.
