#Xfce never let me down. The stability and usability really is from another world.
You can throw any workflow at it and it will not stutter, hang or crash.
Just the right thing for any Sysadmin doing work. 🙂
Combine this with #Debian or any #BSD and you got a match made in heaven 😎

I like to compare #Xfce to a old mountain - it will not go away and stay the way it is 😉 #Debian Sid is a fine choice for running newer software - it is unstable not unusable after all 😉

@jhx@jloc0 Same for Xfce on Sid, that's my choice too. It's really boring... As in, you don't have any surprises, it just keeps working as intended. :)
@jhx XFCE has been my default for over a decade now. Always works, never stresses the system too much, always intuitive to use. It's not perfect, but it does everything I need it to do. Very underrated DE.

It just works, no matter when.
I like my DE to not change - it has to work simply.
Been using it for a long time as well.
