Little bit belated, as I've not been able to get to many sessions this year, but just wanted to shout out to anyone else attending #Autscape, virtually or otherwise. I was at the Zoom workshop on diagnosis with Emma Taylor an Helen Marshall just now, and it was such a good discussion in the Zoom chat section as well. #ActuallyAutistic
Was just at the most amazing talk I’ve attended for a long time* – totally worth the online fee for #Autscape2023 on its own :gi:
Nat Titman was talking about ‘The Autism–Dissociation Association’, and managed to cram so many novel ideas and relatable points into an hour and a quarter
They also gave a model example of genuinely informative and well-timed content notes/trigger warnings
Is anyone at #Autscape? I'm not, but my nerdfriend @Averixus is and he's doing a houseplant talk/workshop thing. 🪴
Plus our best man Parker is there too, and we collectively have a table for our zines, badges, knitwear and 3D-printed fidgets, with all proceeds going to my and Avery's local makerspace.
